Dottie's story was published on May 31, 2009 a Sunday. The very next day Deanna Ducomb of Carlyle called the Sentinel and told them that she had it all wrong about Lyme disease.

This is her rendition of Lyme disease in Illinois.
Dr. Masters who discovered Masters Disease (STARI) was Dottie's doctor.
Apparently Dr. Ducomb did not know that.
